Weirdly distorted vegetation - selective herbicide appears to have been directly applied along this bank, as the centre of the track was unaffected. No brambles or wild raspberries from here this year, and no biodiversity benefits. I remember a lockdown period walk up this track after lunch on a hot Summer day. It was the first time I'd come this way during the day, and there were huge numbers of butterflies all the way along the track. Doubt there'll be so many now... or in the future.
