Orchid Miltonia

A rather different Orchid has just come into flower at the second attempt. The flower spike appears in the centre of tightly folded leaves, and sometimes the plant seems to lack the energy to break free of this impediment. This time a successful outcome although the flowers are gathered around the base of the plant.
