Weather

Another baking hot day but this afternoon we had thunder, lightning and heavy rain. It cooled things down a fair bit. However, an hour later you'd never have know it had rained - the sun was back out and everything dried up.
Since then we've had a couple more heavy showers so I'm hoping that's going to make for a cooler night.
Not done very much again. We did more shopping (there were a couple of things Terry wanted to get to see if he could find some lighter things to eat and it was good in the aircon!
I mopped the hard floors downstairs with our new mop (it uses wipes) and I've been reading - I'm past half way in the book I started yesterday (Chapter 21 next).
The news has been particularly bad today with all kinds of tragedies.
