Badlands National Park
The sunflowers are lovely this year. Everywhere is so green. My memory of this place from a couple of decades ago was that it was desert brown. Downside of all this rain is the violent hailstorm we had here the night before last. It wrecked the flysheet of my tent, so I have a temporary one made out of a tarp I was able to buy at the camp store here (see extra). Fortunately I've been able to order a new fly from REI, which hopefully I'll pick up in a few days.
