Sunday Morning

There is a small group of volunteer gardeners who have made it their mission to replace the invasive ice plant that proliferates along the ocean path. They have chosen one small area, cleaned it out and filled it with natives and drought-tolerant plants. There is always something wonderful in bloom, and their plot is a source of great joy as I wander along.

The Extra shows a few entries from the 27th Annual Woodies on the Wharf car show. There is always an informal parade along the ocean on Sunday morning. Lots of waving and good cheer and aah-woo-gah horns as the cars cruise the cliffs.
