The rain had stopped

Mid afternoon the clouds turned daytime into night, it was so dark. And the rain was once again heavy. On my way home in the still heavy rain, I went to the St Lukes Mall to deal with some banking. By the time I finished there, the sun was shining, and I went to Western Springs for a walk and a blip. 

Probably because of the rain and the darkness, the spoonbill colony had returned from foraging. One had decided to stand on one leg on a rock adjacent to the Shag Rock. The extra showsthe young spoonbill. I think it's young because the left wing tip has dark ends.
