Beauty is all around us.

Car wheel and Siamese cat.

I have been busy doing housework and the Monday washing, drying and cleaning while Paul continued to pack away tables, desks and all sorts of small things in the study. I have made lunch for us and went down to the Co op for some flowers, and from Ray's discount shop, air freshners, a fresh flowers fragranced candle and a needle and thread sewing kit. I love that shop, as it has wonderful, affordable useful things.
The dear Siamese cat came into our garden for cat biscuits. He ir she is very much welcome and treats the garden like his or her own.
We drove into Blackburn to go to the bank as I found an old £20 note in a birthday card when we were clearing up. Only the bank could take it. I also got a new watch strap.
Then in the afternoon, John the removal man from Clayton le Moors, one of the next villages from here, came to see Paul and me, to see what we want moving on 20th July, the moving day to our new house. It will cost £400. We will move the indoor house plants and garden plants. It was going to be 19th July, but Paul wanted the exchange of contracts to happen first. So everything is going according to plan and we are so pleased a young woman has put an offer on our current house that we have accepted. She is going to sort out a survey for the mortgage lender and we have to get our solicitor to action all the legal side of the sale and contract.
I had a lovely phone chat with my sister to update her on what we are doing.
I am feeling the humidity as it is 22c. I am drinking some Jasmine Green tea as it is good for calmness and healthy.
Watching New Lives in the Wild with Ben Fogle presenting the show about people in Spain on an alpaca farm.
Thank you for dropping by and enjoy the lovely warmth.
