Gazanias

This morning we attended the funeral of someone we’ve known for 40 years since his wife started teaching with me in the English department in the local school. Mick and I used to play cricket for the same social 20 over a side team back in the day.

Sadly, he passed away after a battle with cancer. He was a real family man and a big music lover  which was reflected in his choice of music for his funeral, including his son giving a very moving solo performance of Tom Petty’s Learning To Fly
