Pensford Viaduct

I spent all day in my tiny home, mostly working, but also fitting in a bit of guitar practice and some German home work.

I left it until well after seven before going out for my run, which took me beneath Pensford Viaduct. It's a grand construction, which, like many others of its type, now stands idle. An attempt was made to sell it off in 1984 for £1, but no one would take it on because of the anticipated maintenance costs.

And that seems a waste to me. Like Ingleton Viaduct, I think it could make a fantastic tourist attraction.
