Beach Walk

This morning we drove out to Traeth Lligwy where we parked and then walked up the coast, and back.  This photo was taken of the beach there.

We then drove into Moelfe where we bought a sandwich for lunch and ate it overlooking the bay.  From there we walked on the coast path a bit to the Lifeboat station, where we had a chat to one of the volunteers about his very shiny boat.  We called at the Lifeboat museum on the way back to have a look at a boat from another area which had been funded by people sending coupons from fish finger packets to Blue Peter - this boat was called the Birds Eye.

After some very yummy ice creams (Toffee Fudge and Rhubarb flavour) we  had a quick look at Red Wharf Bay and then returned to the cottage to meet up with the rest of Tim's family for a cuppa and some lemon cake.

We then drove back out to Red Wharf Bay via a fish and chip shop and ate our dinner on the beach, hiding from the cold wind.  Next, we had a wander and took pictures of some lovely textures from the bottoms of dinghies in the harbour, and then walked further along the beach in the other direction to have a look at some geology.
