Wow!

What a performance from Elton. I wasn’t a big fan of his - though he is a great singer and musician - but what an amazing performance and sad to think it will be his last live one.
His tribute to George Michael was fabulous.
I saw Elton at the Empire, Liverpool in 1975, he had them massive glasses on. My best friend at the time was a big fan of his.

We’ve had a laid back sort of day, Frank and I practiced the songs we are doing at Stanfest - a village festival in memory of the organiser’s Dad.
I did some drawing for ideas for lino printing and watched a tutorial. I’m still trying to get my head round how to do 2 colours!

Last evening I started to feel a bit cold and shivery and Frank said my cheeks were red. I was also really tired and went to bed at 8.30, I checked my temperature and it was 38.5. No other symptoms though and today I’ve felt fine. Weird!

Thanks for all the ‘Cheers’ for my cider yesterday!
