Guitar Legend
Mark Knopfler at the Royal Albert Hall - a fantastic gig.
We've seen MK several times before, but this was the best one yet - a mixture of his recent folk style and the older Dire Straits rock. They played some real old treats too: Sultans of Swing, Telegraph Road, Romeo and Juliet, So Far Away and finished with a perfect version of Going Home.
Support was from Ruth Moody, a Canadian folk singer songwriter, and her band - and they were also superb (we bought the CD and got it signed too, hurrah!). Check her music out if you get the chance.
All in all an awesome Friday night.
