Amputee tree

While googling for something interesting to say about trees with missing branches, in this case as a result of freak high winds last year, I stumbled upon this. I must had had a very sheltered life because I'd never heard of this, nor can I see the attraction, while accepting that it takes all sorts to make up this crazy world. Apologies to any amputee-fetishist blippers, and DZ - give back that filter!
