The Last of the Poplar Leaves……

The golden carpet of poplar leaves is on the true left bank of the Taylor River. The waterway is narrow here with lots of undergrowth on the banks. Maisie had a drink of water there. The distant mountains beyond the trees on the left bank are part of the Richmond Range. Not many other dogs and owners about this morning. The sun shone most of the morning. Hopefully it will partially dry out my yet unstacked heap of firewood.
