Floral emblem

The red and green kangaroo paw, Anigozanthus manglesii, is the floral emblem of Western Australia. I photographed it today in Kings Park Botanic Garden in Perth. I didn't expect to find it flowering in winter time, and there were't many flowers, but this one pleased me.
