Romany Chell Monument

Admiral Rodney's pillar is just visible on the hilltop behind this monument to  two Romany Chells (chiefs).  Surprisingly it was erected about 60 years ago with the scond memorial tablet added about 40 years ago.  An unusual story behind it:

One of our steepest walks - when does a walk become a scramble become a climb?  If(?) the reverse of a climb is a descent, can a walk up become a descent down? eg in the case of bottom skiing?
