First full day back home and time to examine the garden. The sweet peas certainly haven't missed us, which speak to the common idea of stripping the flowered seed heads off the plant in order to promote new flowers... 

Not a great technical photograph, but I fear I'm still finding the camera a bit heavy for my right arm - which ridiculously still has no skin surface feeling and yet deep nerve pain. You'll probably have noted how many recent; shots have been with the iPhone. Hmm...

The majority of the day was spent interring Noel's remains into the ground, alongside those of his first wife, Francis. The family then went for lunch in a local hostelry, and thence home for more painkillers.
