South Durham and Lancashire Union Railway

A wander along those old route as it takes in a couple of nature reserves - mostly in trees it was a good choice as we were mostly protected from weather that looked vile.

Good to be back out with G, lots of nattering and a truly inquisitive mind. Missy spent the whole 6hour walk exploring at full pace up and down the dishes railway embankments. She's fast asleep on the couch now.
