Emerging

.......... a Seven Spot Ladybird drying out after fighting it’s way out of the pupa ( also in the picture).

It was a bit cooler today and more overcast so I managed to get out for a walk up the farm tracks on a bug hunt. Several butterflies around and lots of insects but nowhere near as many as usual - it was fairly windy so that might have been keeping them away.

Not sure where the day disappeared to, I did several small jobs and bits and pieces of housework when suddenly ( so it seemed ) it was time to start cooking the evening meal ;-))
