Today’s photo wasn’t taken today - nor could it have been, it shows the statue of poet Robert Fergusson outside the Canongate Kirk.

Earlier today several people expressed concern on social media that the statue had mysteriously disappeared. Thankfully the council have since confirmed it’s been removed for repair and will be back on the Royal Mile in due course.
