Piercing through the tarmac

I always think of forget-me-nots as being flowers of April and May but here is a plant (in late June), forcing its way up through the tarmac of a jitty on our estate.

I took another walk today from home through the jitties to Homeway Close and Trueway Drive. Not so very far but far enough to tire me out.
