Back and my beloved carnivores have survived

Too tired to write much.
Had a superfast drive from London. Got home in one hour 43 minutes. That's a record for us. Can't believe it took us over 3 ½ hours to get there with traffic hold-ups all over the place. Today we just sailed through.

Spent some time researching the best way to care for my carnivorous plants as we were away for five days. Was advised to place them in a bowl in 3 to 4 inches of rain or distilled water. Luckily it worked.

Exhausted now. Switching off. Been the best (long) weekend I can remember. And to think I've nearly pulled out because of the heat forecast. I was saved by the large water spray bottle I carried with.
