St. Helens

We visited St Helens today. A nice quiet beach, walk and cafe. Had a lovely crab sandwich. 
The main blip is the old St Helens Church. In 1720 a huge wave destroyed most of the church but the tower still stands. The seaward side is painted as a seamark. 
The extra is of some beach huts made from very old train carriages.
