1986 Sunday — Pedaling to Sausalito

Today is Tuesday, June 27, 2023 — I am back blipping as I dismantle old photo albums and memories spill everywhere.


1986 — The day before this, the three of us had flown from SoCal to San Francisco with our bicycles in the baggage compartment of the plane. We were joining with a group of cyclists to pedal our bicycles south to San Diego.

We had one free day in the city to play and we decided to pedal across the Golden Gate Bridge. The three of us were having a blast. As mature responsible adults we were getting to go on a childhood adventure.

There’s lots more to explain, but for now this is enough.
