Pasta sauce

We remembered to put a tray of peppers, onion, tomatoes and garlic in the oven to gently roast for a couple of hours in the afternoon in preparation for our pasta sauce, which just needed a jar of passata, basil and some seasoning. It's been full on of late with Susie working all hours but we managed a spare 45 mins to see the new TV version of Pop Master. It's OK, but the joy of the radio version is it only takes 15mins, delivering just about the right amount of pop trivia for a day. We used to play it via the Sounds app while making dinner, but since Ken Bruce defected to Greatest Hits, we haven't bothered.
