Vagur
Sorry almost no internet connection, so brief posts and no comments…
We sailed into a southerly Faroese island Suderoy and docked in the little town of Vagur. Very few ships come here so the locals made us very welcome. First they organised a traditional dance on the harbour in bright sunshine and got us all to join in. If you can imagine 200 people weaving around the harbour :-) then we split into small groups and were taken on guided walks around the town and coastline by local guides. The Faroes have a strong choral tradition snd the day ended with the town choir performing for us in the parish church - so moving!
