Needles and pins
This morning I had my PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) injection for the tendon at back of my thigh.
As mentioned previously, this consists of an extraction of my blood, which is put in a centrifuge. This increases the platelet concentration. The blood is then re-injected via a very fine needle, which was rather painful. But is supposed to aid the healing.
I now have to stay pretty still for at least 48 hours, which is already driving me crazy. And will be a while before I can run.
So here's one of the last roses in the garden
