Foxglove

So many of these Foxgloves in the forest, adding a welcome splash of colour. You may just make out the bee flying in from the right very blurred but just about visible.

Update on my bee picture from yesterday:   

I passed the pic to some people I know in the National Bee Unit (part of DEFRA), their expertise is with honey bees not bumble bees. However they kindly asked some of their colleagues and the consensus of opinion seems to be an accidental collision with a bird or (less likely) parasites.
