Peonies in bud

Today was not easy. Packed up the last of my ex’s belongings which I’d been storing at home the past six months. Met up with his sister to give her it all. My car was full to the brim with books, clothes, candles, chess set and a bonsai.

Felt so sad and guilty ‘dumping’ it all on her but she was lovely about it. I’m sad I’ve had to cut all contact for my own wellbeing but until he can seek help for his problems there’s no point.

Enjoyed my swim again this evening and was too fast for the medium lane! Bought these peonies on my way home.
