Bathgate Procession 2013

Every year, the 1st Saturday in June, this procession takes place in my home town.
When I was wee, it was a day to be super excited about and you always got brand new 'Gala' clothes etc.
It is a huge thing, with all the local schools and businesses taking part. A fun day :)

I took quite a few shots but I liked this one at the very start of the walk which helps show how busy it is. The streets are lined with lots and lots of people, all the way from where it leaves from.... The Old Academy (my old primary school), right down to bottom of Bathgate at the show park.
