21 Today

Of course you would never have guessed!!

I couldn't wake up, and consequently left for work at 7.30 and didn't get in until 8.40. But at least I was able to wish my lovely young man a happy birthday before leaving.

Busy all day at eork but escaped at 4. We had plans for an evening on the beach. Dan and Viki met us there and arrived as we were dishing up our pre ordered Thai takeaway. We had blankets, seats and swimming costumes...oh hold on, that was just me! And it was still a warm evening so of course I had to head into the sea for my first swim of the year. I can't believe it's almost July and I am only now getting my first swim.

It wasn't a typical 21st celebration, but something to remember. See extra. Back home, Mollie had made a birthday cake - lemon drizzle was requested. We were joined by mum and Rod, and then spent an hour watching old baby and toddler videos of Henry. He was just soooo cute!
