Choices in the sphere of artistic rendering......

This  is a sample exercise I devised for students seeking to try out
different mediums and effects, using the same subject.  Most chose
a simple still life but because I love figures so much I chose this small
family group sketched at Terrigal beach.   Material choices were
Oils, Acryilics, Watercolour, Pastels, charcoal and mixed media.Other choices were  Light sources, Tonal studies, various colour choices  and
textures.     It's a great way to discover your preferences and having
heightened your awareness of options, you are better prepiared to
choose in future.
