Lilies of the Field

No, not lilies but common "Bindweeds" according to my Google Lens app. Pretty just the same and if their blossoms were blue  I'd tag this for wide-Wednesday but ...

I had just brought C to see the local retinal eye specialist who provides the regular injection she needs to stay current with her treatment for Macular Degeneration and these were on the grounds of the medical center where the office is located. She's a braver soul than I am, the thought of a needle in my eye sends shivers down my spine. 

The extra gives a bit of a "taste" of the air quality as smoke from wildfires up north has settled over the Mid-west. It stinks - literally.
