Did the final prep for book group lunch in the morning, and had just finished when everything arrived. I always seem to cut it fine. There were only four of us but we had a nice time sitting in the garden. I shut the kittens out of the kitchen whilst I was preparing the food and we were eating but we had coffee inside with the door shut so they came in then- or at least Billie did. Otis is wary of people he doesn’t know. DM hadn’t visited before so everyone had a tour of the house and I realised I had done quite a lot more since they last came in March last year. They left about 4.30 and I spent a nice hour or two sorting out the kitchen and storing all the leftovers. Love having leftovers and love clearing up after an ‘event’ (but not routine stuff!), so very satisfying!
