My first visit to the supermarket this morning was bright and early. The day felt pleasantly warm in the sunshine. By the time I completed my shopping and arrived at Johnston Gardens the sun was starting to fade and there was a coolness in the air.

The ducks were very busy having a late breakfast or an early lunch. Other than green there was very little colour in the park. So I gave up on flowers in the park as there were none, or almost none. A visit to Hazelhead may be called for, perhaps the roses are flowering.
