Frutigen station

We took the bus from Adelboden in the direction of Frutigen and got off to walk across the Hostalde Suspension Bridge. It is one of the longest suspension bridges in Europe at 153 metres. I had to psych myself up for this and can’t say I enjoyed it but it’s done!

From here we hiked down to the station. We then took the train to Spiez and had lunch by the castle. After looking around the town we caught the 1522 train back and then the bus to Ardelboden . Most welcome cup of tea in a cafe and back to our hotel. It is now raining and thundering. Great day.
