Winter Woolies

Every year our ladies section at the golf club knit or donate warm blankets and other warm items to a charity of our choice. The collection was donated today to an old aged home where the residents have low incomes.

It's been a lovely day, still an icy chill in the air. Some provinces are experiencing extreme weather patterns  - with a tornado and floods in the KwaZulu Natal area, Further up our coast there has also been severe flooding. The poorer rural areas are always the worst hit, where people who have little lose everything.
