Fabulous ...

... blipmeet!

As I mentioned yesterday we scheduled a blipmeet with shirleyray as she and her husband were going to staying in our area on their way into New England.  We had a fabulous day!

They are staying in an RV park about 45 minutes from our house so we drove up and picked them up before heading out to lunch.  After lunch we took them to Jim Thorpe, PA ... a historic, scenic town nestled in the Lehigh Gorge.  

When we arrived in Jim Thorpe we took a short train ride along the Lehigh River.  The train ride allowed us to take in the scenery whilst catching up ... we talked the entire ride!  As we were exiting the train we spotted a young boy in his pajamas ... center bottom picture!  How cute is that!?!

We took a short walk through the town after our train excursion.  I even surprised myself by asking the man with the dog if I could take their pictures!  The dog is a Papillion named Pico.  And I believe that man said his name was James ... but I'm not entirely sure of that.

After our walk we returned to the RV park and visited there for a short time.  Bunker was happy to see us!  He sat on the couch between us for a little bit before returning to Sheryl's lap.  We didn't stay long as we knew they are leaving tomorrow to continue their travels and didn't want to tie up their entire day.  We were back home by 4:30ish.

But we had a really wonderful time with Sheryl, Tony ... and Bunker, of course!  Thank you for everything!  Until we meet again ... safe travels!
