Let there be light

Our funky new kitchen light. It looks good and has three settings, bright, in between and dim. 

We had planned to go to get our new passports organised today, but got a message to say that there were a couple of large parcels being delivered. We decided to wait until they had arrived and in the meantime tidy up the chaos behind the garage. A jumble of pots, saucers, canes and general gardening  tut that had been dumped by the removal men at our request. 

An unexpected delivery of paving slabs arrived at the same time as the expected one. We decided to postpone the passport job and focus on the jobs in hand. 

I went to collect Olive and brought her home. She now recognises where we are going and squeaks in excitement. She spent the afternoon playing with Amber. We all went back to R & S’s and did our walk from there for a change. 

It was good day’s work outdoors, the temperature was perfect.
