i wasn’t looking - for this one - it sort of - found me quite - some time ago - on one of those - hunting trips with - my sister when - we’d set out - early to visit - the shops with no - exact list in mind - just a good time - with each other - and an adventurous - time exploring through - old things to see - what might show up - sometimes we’d find - interesting doodads and other - times we’d walk - away with absolutely - nothing to show - for it except - our own company - and now i recognize just - how valuable that truly was

but for this - particular little mirror - it simply grabbed - my attention only - because of the - pink flower and because - it’s a limoges - which meant it - was of french origin - otherwise i think it - might date to - the early 1920’s - and it’s porcelain - and it makes - me smile every time - i look at it - i believe that’s - enough to make it…
