We lived in this part of Devon at the time he was taking his photographs and are so surprised at how ancient they are.

Very much worth a look, especially if you like b&w.

Mine is taken at Dunsland (interesting National Trust property) the site of a 17th century house that burnt down just before it was opened to the public after a decade of more of restoration. again, very much worth a look.
