More blooms

The calendulas are still flowering all over the places I've allowed them to spread. Which is almost everywhere. 

They are such a cheerful sight that I can't bring myself to pull them up very often. And even when I do, it seems there is such a deep undergrowth of tiny seedlings that it's no time at all before there's a new carpet of rich green and yellow. No matter what time of year it is.
