The Old Watch House

Awoke to a lovely sunny day so Mr H and I decided to have a little walk down to Monmouth beach. The walk itself is so pretty, we are so lucky to live in such beautiful countryside. We walked right along the seafront to Monmouth beach where the recent landslide had caused damage leading to the demolition of several beach chalets. We walked back into old town stopping on the way to buy freshly caught fish at The Old Watch House for our supper tonight. We had breakfast at Aroma cafe and then headed home. Six and a half miles and nearly three hours after leaving home ! "A little walk" he said !!
