Blacksmiths at work

Great day out today with SR, SuttonLady, and NightHawk. We visited Shugborough hall, which was the home of Patrick Lichfield. There are some of his photographs and some of his studio gear on display in the house along with his private apartments. They also had this blacksmiths. We watched them heat up the poker and put a twist in it like it was made of plasticene. Very impressive and great to see people doing real work.
