Cetacean Highway

Took myself for a walk around beach and all these people pointing and watching as whales breach maybe 2-3ks offshore. Unfortunately my lens has not got the reach to do them justice. From May to August there is a steady stream of mothers moving up the coast up north Queensland to give birth to young calves in warm tropical waters.
