Brora

The last time we were in Brora, we were camping on the dunes near an old RAF station. We must have been very near the same spot when we stopped here - the chain link fence and the brutalist loo-block seemed familiar. 

It's a pleasant little town. The shop - Hunters - which sold wonderful tweed and wool for knitting and weaving - has gone, sadly. I did find a shop selling yarn and woolen fabric, but the mahogany counters and wooden measuring sticks have gone into the mists of time. But I found a nice squishy rain hat, and it came home with me. 

I'm back-blipping this, the weather has broken, that hat will get an outing soon.
