Cinnabar Caterpillars

Last night's trustee meeting fried  my brain a bit and I slept fitfully. Didn't rush up this morning but when I did go out I scoured the ragwort plants for cinnabar moth caterpillars. I had to walk away from the path into a more scrubby place and there they were feeding happily. Because I'd dawdled I was caught in the rain. It's pretty wet. 

We debated postponing our midweek break next week as the forecast is really poor. 8° in July is not appropriate. But I think we'll go all the same. We have overtrousers and warm clothing. We have Scrabble and books. We'll be fine!
