French Food !

Just back from a wonderful few days celebrating my birthday down in the Perigord area of France.  I attended a wonderful cookery school on one of the days.  It was a day of hands on cooking in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.  The chef was excellent.  We learnt so much about local ingredients and being in the Perigord of course it included lots of duck and duck fat ! Can highly recommend them ....

After the death of my father a few years ago and then Covid I decided that what I wanted from life was "experiences" rather than "things" for birthdays and Christmas etc.  This was one of those great days that will be a long lasting memory....
