Poppy and bee

You have to look carefully for the bee - a fairly stout bumbler, but so deep within the poppy I didn't see her at first. Did some more tidying and rough strimming, sowed a couple of late rows - bulb fennel and cavalo nero. The climbing beans are really going for it now, and the courgette plants are huge, but only male flowers so far.

Later on the nematodes arrived in the post (I'd spotted they'd become briefly available on Kings website, so went for it). Ah yes, they're produced by BASF, so presumably in Germany, so the shortage is doubtless another Bre***it benefit.
