Pubs of London

After work today a number of blokes in the office decided to go out for beers. The city was buzzing with atmosphere as we started at a pub down near London Bridge on the city side. This photo is of me with the two single stocks traders over here, (with whom I've been good friends since first visiting in 2017). On the left, Rich, who like me loves cricket. On the right, Jean (a frenchman), a lover of food and wine who's been trying to convince me that French (rather than Australian) wine is the best in the world. We subsequently had a drink under the monument to the fire of London, and after a few more I built up the courage to drape myself in the Australian flag. This was a very popular decision with both my colleagues and the wider London pub going community. It was untimely my undoing, when during a lengthy conversation with some random Londoners I became detached from the rest of my group, and missed the call to leave for the next pub. In retrospect this was probably a good thing.
